Today, the US authorities are faced with a dilemma – what to do: either save their global financial system at the cost of the domestic real sector of their economy, or save their domestic real sector due to the collapse of the global dollar system.
Economist Mikhail Khazin spoke about this on the air of Solovyov Live, reports news agency DEITA.RU.
According to him, the choice between these two catastrophes must be made at the political level. As the expert explained, according to what scenario events will develop further, it will depend on who has more real power – industrialists or financiers.
At the same time, Khazin did not rule out such a development of events when both of these elite groups begin to act together. This can happen if the global economic crisis reaches a very large scale, so that there is only one option left.
It may mean that the US will have to refuse further funding of its global dollar system and curtail all its projects to the geography of the new AUKUS bloc. With this, as the expert noted, in principle even bankers can agree.
