AC Milan is delighted to announce that the Club will be heading to the United States of America this summer on a pre-season tour, which will see the Rossoneri taking part in the 2023 Soccer Champions Tour.

Soccer Champions Tour is a new marquee football exhibition series, which will see six of the world’s most iconic football clubs – AC Milan, Arsenal, FC Barcelona, Juventus FC, Manchester United and Real Madrid CF – competing in nine top-tier matches across the United States.

AC Milan will therefore visit the US having been there for a pre-season tour in the summer of 2019, when the Rossoneri played in Kansas City, MO and Foxborough, MA. More recently, the Club has travelled to the US twice in the past year with the AC Milan Trophy Tour in partnership with Emirates and with an institutional delegation led by Chairman Paolo Scaroni, who was invited to speak at the Change the World Model United Nations conference in New York City.

The pre-season tour in the US highlights the Club’s special bond with the United States, where AC Milan is the best-regarded Italian football brand according to international market research company YouGov, with over 43 million fans across the country. A bond also demonstrated by the groundbreaking partnership with the New York Yankees, which brought two of the most iconic sports brands in the world together. A strategic partnership resulting from a longstanding relationship between Yankee Global Enterprises and RedBird Capital Partners, the controlling shareholder of AC Milan.

For the Rossoneri, the 2023 pre-season tour will include a number of high-profile games against top European clubs in preparation for the 2023/24 football season. Exclusive pre-sale tickets will be available starting Tuesday, 16 May, with the general on-sale ticket access beginning on Friday, 19 May. For access to the pre-sale, all fans are invited to sign up at www.SoccerChampionsTour.com. All individual game and venue-specific information is also available at the tour website.

Below are the details of the three friendly matches that AC Milan will play in the USA this summer:

Sunday, 23 July 2023 – vs Real Madrid CF in Los Angeles, CA
The first game on American soil will see the Rossoneri take on Real Madrid CF on Sunday 23 July at the Rose Bowl, iconic stadium in Los Angeles, which famously hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup Final.

Thursday, 27 July 2023 – vs Juventus FC in Los Angeles, CA
Stefano Pioli’s side will remain in Los Angeles for the second game of the friendly tournament, where the Rossoneri will take on Juventus FC at the Dignity Health Sports Park.

Tuesday, 1 August 2023 – vs FC Barcelona in Las Vegas, NV
AC Milan’s trip to the West Coast of the US will then continue with the team moving to Nevada in early August to play against FC Barcelona at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The presence in the strategic North American market will provide the Club with an opportunity to continue the growth path of the Club off the pitch and to strengthen the positive perception of the AC Milan brand at an international level.

Additional details about the Club’s plans for the trip to USA will be announced in the coming weeks.
