Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the statement of the adviser to the head of the office of the Ukrainian President Mikhail Podolyak that Ukraine does not strike targets in Russia.
“We don’t believe him,” the spokesman said.
Mikhail Podolyak argued that Ukraine is waging a “defensive war” and does not strike at Russian territory. According to him, the increase in internal attacks by aircraft on Russian infrastructure is associated with “panic and disintegration processes.”
The day before, on February 28, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian armed forces tried to attack civilian infrastructure facilities in the Krasnodar Territory and Adygea with drones. But all devices were eliminated by electronic warfare units, the department assured.
